Pinus pseudostrobus var apulcensis, USDA H9-hardier when taller

The specie was first collected by Hartweg in 1838(Mexico), though other taxonomists have since named it pinus oaxacana and ~diversiformis. The type has slender green to glaucous green needles, often drooping, 20-35cm long. The upper branches of mature trees generally more ascending with lower branches more spreading/bowing down.
